On 28 July 2026, the Guangzhou Bureau of Industry and Information Technology announced the winners of the 10th Maker Guangdong Guangzhou SME competition and projects recommended for the provincial semi-final; ChipsNest won second prize and qualified for the semi-final.
Themed "Maker Guangdong, Creating the Future", the competition is guided by the Cybersecurity Industry Development Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and co-hosted by the Guangdong Department of Industry and Information Technology and the Zhuhai Municipal Government.
